Ryan founded R&S 14 years ago in 2009. His favorite thing about running the company is challenging himself everyday to become better. In the landscaping industry there are so many variables that can go wrong, and it is not an easy business if you are not used to multitasking. He enjoys working towards better solutions for the inevitable challenges that arise.

When it comes to the culture at R&S, Ryan says: "We have an employee first mindset. We take pride in making sure the culture reflects our mission and that stays in the front of our minds every day. We have built a business that truly feels like everyone is family and that's hard to do and to get everone's participation. But our team is as strong as they come. I take great pride in making sure this mentality stays true to its roots no matter how large we grow."

Outside of the business, Ryan's favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing. His favorite place to travel would be Australia - he was there once and cannot wait to go back one day with his wife and kids. When he's not at R&S you can find him spending time with his family, his wife and their daughter Lemon, and their son, Ford.
